Dartmouth Amateur Athletic Club is a competing club which competes in a number of competitions across the year. The competitions give the athletes the chance to compete and test themselves while putting everything they have been taught into practice. The club has a great history of doing well in the competitions and winning some of them now and again. The competitions consist of Indoor sports hall, Track and Field, X-Country and many other fun events. Competition is not a mandatory requirement but we would hope that athletes attend a few competitions and attempt at least one of the league competitions. Remember that coaches within the club are here on a voluntary basis and spend a lot of time and effort into developing your children, in return they would really like to see them competing and assess how they are progressing. Please note that membership is subject to the child’s willingness to compete and parent/guardians willingness to help on training nights and within the club, priority membership is given to these individuals. Please remember the club is run by the committee and coaches who give their time voluntary for the children.
There is a parent rota and parents / carers are encouraged to put their name down to help at least once per child per term. We need your help!!
